Black Dog Fitness Wellness Policies & Guidelines

We are operating under guidelines based on recommendations by the CDC and our local government. Please note that some of these will be temporary, while others may be more long-term. We will continue to keep everyone updated on any policy changes.

Please review the following information.

Do not come to the studio or to any of our outdoor sessions if you:

  • Are not feeling well for any reason.
  • Have or have had a fever (100.4), cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms of COVID-9 within the past 14 days.

  • Have been in close contact with anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • Have been at large gatherings/crowded places (indoors or outdoors) where social distancing was not taking place, within the past 14 days.

We are asking anyone coming into Black Dog to take personal responsibility for assessing symptoms and overall wellness, as well as general whereabouts. By attending class, you confirm that none of the above are true to the best of your knowledge.

Staff will adhere to the same guidelines above.

  • Per St. Louis City guidelines, everyone is required to wear a mask in the studio at all times, including while exercising. Staff are also required to wear masks at all times.

  • Strict in and out times will ensure that we keep everyone organized, safe and have plenty of time to clean between training sessions. The studio will open 10 minutes before class time and the door will be locked once class has started.

  • Be aware of your surroundings and please physically distance while moving throughout the studio. (Give staff and other members 6 feet of space at all times.)

  • Please plan to train in socks or flat shoes. If wearing shoes, we ask that you bring a separate pair for training.

  • Everyone must wash their hands upon arrival and before leaving.

  • Small Group Training is currently a max of 5 (+ 1 coach) inside the studio. Each member will have their own space and equipment, and will be at least 6 feet away from others.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available.

  • Please bring in minimal items.

  • The water fountain is temporarily unavailable. Members should bring own water. Bottled water is available if you forget.
